He was born at Ayios Photios Paphos on 1947.
He studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering in Toronto Canada.
He received Canadian citizenship and worked for General Electric Medical Systems in Canada for five years, with specialization on Computerized Axial Tomography (CAT Scanners). He received over six months specialized training at GE Medical Institute and factory in Milwaukee U.S.A. He was responsible for the installation, commissioning and service of the company's CAT Scanners in Eastern Canada.

In 1981 he moved to Cyprus and for three years he covered Middle East and North Africa with the Installation and service of Scientific Analytical Instruments.
He received factory training on Analytical Instruments at Fisher Scientific in Boston and Atlanta U.S.A.

Through the years he attended various technical courses, on Uninterruptible Power Supplies, Inverters, Rectifiers, Computer systems, Medical systems and Analytical Instruments, in the U.K, U.S.A., Canada, Israel, Finland, Germany.
